Thought #20 Moving (Ford)ward

This past fashion week I had the pleasure of interning with world renowned modeling agency Ford Models. I must say that I enjoyed myself. I gained a lot knowledge of what goes on behind those doors millions of girls would die to be behind. The task us interns had were to make sure the refrigerator is always stocked with caned soda, water, and red bulls for those long 12 hour days. Also make sure the bathroom is always kept clean. We sometimes got to run errands for the bookers(the bookers are like agents who deal directly with the models and get them castings) to different designer showrooms around NYC. When things weren't hectic we would fix up the girls portfolios so that when they went on go-sees they would have their most previous shoots or ads in them.

My time has now ended as was told to me from day one when I was hired for fashion week. I'm a little sad because I would have liked to stay on board but I strongly believe that when one door closes another one opens, so with that being said I am now looking for a new internship. I'm glad I have Ford Models to add to my resume.
