Thought #29 Work In Progress

Since I moved out of the dorms and into my new apartment I've had more room for my clothes. When I say clothes I mean clothes lol. I have an extra bedroom which I dedicated to my clothes, shoes, and accessories. This is a process that has taken me a while because I've been so busy with school, interning, and work but I found time to kind of get everything under control for the time being. Below are photos of my transitions into making this closet perfect!

bare with me guys it'll get better!

Thought #28 Merry Christmas

Okay let just start off by saying happy holidays to all of you guys out there no matter your religion or what or who you believe in I love you guys and thank you for coming to my blog and reading my post!

So today is Christmas one of my favorite holidays because I am an only child lol. I know that sounds bad but I'm not going to lie to you guys I love getting gifts from people who love me as well as giving gifts to the people I love. Anyway I wanted to talk about my outfit I had on today because I received so many compliments. One day while thrifting at my favorite thrift store back in New York I came across the sweater below. Now it's not exactly a Christmas sweater because it's really a 4th of July sweater lol no one noticed though and loved it! Below are photos of how I wore my holiday sweater and color blocked the heck out of my clothes as usual!

Merry Christmas everyone & Happy Holidays <3

Thought #27 An unorthodox way of dress!

How many of you out there know or have seen an Orthodox Jewish women. Lot's of us right? How can we tell that their orthodox? Well usually by their way of dress, most orthodox jewish women wear long dresses or skirts and long sleeve sweaters and cardigans. How many of us say that " we wish they were able to wear something different"? That they were able to show their own individuality through fashion? Well I have and for as long as I can remember I never understood why they couldn't they don't spice up their traditional way of dress. It was until I started my current internship that I seen an orthodox jewish women add a hint of fashion to her style. Take a look below and see how times have changed!

Here is my fellow intern Michelle doesn't she look amazing?

Here one of my classmates from school who is also Orthodox Jewish look how she styles it up!

Look at how both of these women color block and accessorize. They still look sophisticated and respectable but very stylish, go ladies!

Thought #26 Fashionably Exhausted

Being a full time student who interns four days a week at a major fashion magazine and who also works part time in a very well known retail store I can say that at the end of the day I'm exhausted with fashion lol. I'm surrounded with clothing, shoes, accessories all day everyday even at school though I don't have the items in front of me I'm still learning and discussing the subject at all times lol. Whew I think I'm on a fashion overload right now but it's okay lol I'm going back home to California in a week and a half for the holidays and when I do I'm going to take advantage of my time away from school and work and sleep as much as I can and catch up with family!

As for now in the words of the amazing Rachel Zoe I'm " Fashionably Exhausted" lol!
